What the classical Gochara table says about today
0 of the 9 grahas the tradition rates count in your favour from Makara today. The Moon is not one of them, so Chandrabalam is absent today. It is the part that moves fastest. That changes at Mon 11:15.
2 would have counted. Another graha stands in the house the tradition says holds each of them back.
This rates the transit, not you. It is a count of where the grahas stand, and it says nothing about how your day will go.

Overall status
Where a graha is actually standing in the houses that signify each area, counted from Makara.
Do the unglamorous part
Shukra (Venus) in your 10th house touches work, standing and what the world sees. Read it as pace rather than obstacle — the steady, dull work moves further today than the ambitious one.
Shukra (Venus) · 10th house
Keep the outgoings tight
Chandra (Moon) in your 12th house touches spending, rest, letting go and life abroad. Worth pausing on the unnecessary spend and checking what is on autopay — not because anything is coming, but because attention is cheap.
Not financial advice. Never an amount, a direction or a date.
Chandra (Moon) · 12th house
Say the harder thing kindly
Guru (Jupiter) in your 7th house touches partners, marriage and anyone you deal with one to one. The tradition reads this as friction rather than distance: worth being plain rather than smoothing over, and worth letting the other person finish.
Guru (Jupiter) · 7th house
Protect the routine
Ketu in your 8th house relates to what you share with others, inheritance, and what is out of your hands. Read it as a nudge about pace rather than about your body: rest properly, do not skip meals, and do not push through exhaustion.
Not medical advice. If something is wrong, see a doctor — this is never a reason to wait.
Ketu · 8th house
What to do today
No graha the classical table rates is standing favourably from Makara today.
What to avoid today
Wait two days
The Moon here is read as feelings running hot. Around rest and spending, things will feel bigger today than they are. Nothing needs deciding now — the Moon moves on in a couple of days.
Chandra (Moon) · 12th house
Add time to the plan
Saturn is read as delay and weight. Anything to do with siblings and short trips takes longer today than you planned for. Build the extra time in rather than pushing against it.
Shani (Saturn) · 3rd house
Keep the plan small
Jupiter is read as making things bigger — including costs. Keep plans around your partner to a size you can carry without help.
Guru (Jupiter) · 7th house
Skip the argument
Mars here is read as friction. Arguments about your partner start easily today. The one you would win still costs more than it returns.
Mangal (Mars) · 7th house
Let someone else be right
The Sun here is read as pushing against somebody else’s authority. Press on travel and learning today and you meet resistance. Give way; it costs nothing.
Surya (Sun) · 9th house
Today's mantra
The beeja mantra the tradition assigns to Shani (Saturn), the lord of Makara.
ॐ प्रां प्रीं प्रौं सः शनैश्चराय नमः
oṁ prāṁ prīṁ prauṁ saḥ śanaiścarāya namaḥ
Printed because the texts assign it, not prescribed as a fix. This site does not sell remedies, and it does not claim a mantra changes what the sky is doing.

Every graha, its house from Makara, and what the classical Gochara table makes of it. This is the computation the cards above are built from.

Why some favourable placements do not count
The classical table has a second half. A graha in a house the table likes gives nothing while another graha sits in the paired house — vedha, meaning obstruction. Saturn in your 3rd is favourable, but not while something stands in your 12th. This reading applies that pairing to all nine grahas.
There is a further rule, vipreet vedha, where an obstruction cancels a difficult placement instead. The texts state it as a principle rather than a table. The sources do not agree on one table, so we do not count it here.
This is the sky, not your chart
Everything above is true for everyone with this sign. What makes it yours is where these bodies fell when you were born — that needs your date, time and place.
